Your pet can get pain relief

ask remington’s owner

My Border Collie, Remington is about 12 years old. He has had hip dysplasia his whole life, but until this year it hasn’t slowed him down. I was beginning to notice that he would favor his hips and not be as happy to see me when I would enter the room. He was getting a monthly injection of Adequan which seemed to give him some relief for his pain.

About 3 weeks ago, as he was getting out of his favorite chair, he dislocated his left hip. With much anxiety and worry, I was able to get him to Animal Hospital for treatment. The doctor sedated him and took x-rays, at which time the leg popped back into place. Remington did not have any damage from what we could determine, so the doctor recommended a series of laser treatments.

After the first treatment there was significant improvement in his movements, his attitude and his involvement with the family. He has now had five treatments and appears to enjoy his walks so much more than before the injury.
